every Pixel has a meaning!
Well personally i would never like my contacts to be shared among all others within the organization! secondly is there any restriction in it as in if i added a contact others would be able to delete it i see no use of it one can simply do a db query to retrive contacts from Roundcube db!

No one needs it personally
but sometimes you have to do it, with keeping other options like edit/delete disabled.
